[Kazuo looks blankly at the screen for awhile before actually speaking.]

A curse perhaps.

[He tilts his head to the side like he's waiting for more information to appear.]

[Kazuo just has one thing to say.]

I have finished with you.

[Kazuo is seen looking out over the water, head tilted to the side. As usual, his hair is perfectly slicked back and there is no sign of any emotion to be found on his face.]

I do not understand why there is water for the curse today.

[And that is all he has to say.]

[Kazuo isn't paying any attention to the curse today. Instead, he is here for another reason. Someone gave him an idea and he decided to do it.]

I will be selling paintings. The subject will be up to you.

The price as well.

[He turns the device towards and beautiful ocean scene he did. And then he turns it off.]

[The video of his device turns on to reveal Kazuo standing near the fountain. At first it isn't clear what he's doing but then the viewer can see him shift out of the way.

He's painting the most beautiful and realistic picture of the fountain covered in snow. Every last detail is there, including snow falling from the sky.

He tilts his head to observe his work then adds more color to one are.

It seems that his skills extend all the way into art.]

[ooc: Feel free to contact him on the device but action is open to anyone who wants to walk by and see him there.]

This again.

[Kazuo studies things before removing a City coin from his pocket. He studies it a moment and it doesn't seem clear as to what he is going to do with it. Then, he flips it in the air.

When it comes back down he catches it.]

I play.

[And that is all. There is a crossbow in his hands now and he is on the hunt for everyone in the game.]

[ooc: Kazuo here will fight anyone and is trying to kill people. If you're interested in him killing your character, he's your man. Just let me know what is okay and what isn't. (I'm always okay with setting up an escape scenario or Kazou getting hurt instead.) Open to action here or other replies. Just know that now that he's in hunt mode, he probably won't say a single word.]

[Kazuo comes on the screen and looks at his device. Slowly, he tilts his head.]

The City wrote me a list.

[It may be late at night but Kazuo is currently found at the library reading a book titled The Many Uses of Coal. On the table before him sits a nice lump of coal.

Looking up, he sees the device on and looks at it. Then away again. Closing the book he opens another that has the title of Coal to Diamonds: Is It Possible?]

[ooc: Open action in the library! Otherwise he'll reply if you poke this.]

[Kazuo stares at the screen for awhile before actually speaking. This is his first one of these after all.]

There are many new faces out there.

[ooc: Still on hiatus but wanted to get this up! Sorry if I'm slow.]

[The video turns on and shows Kazuo and his cat staring at each other. That's all they're doing. Just staring at each other without blinking.

This goes on for awhile until the cat finally mewls at him and he gets up and gives to give him food. Then he looks at his hand and tilts his head.]

My weapon is missing.

It is November now.

Does this mean your establishment is open again, Clef?

[Kazuo turns on his device and stares at the screen calmly. Though his skin is rotting off and falling away from his face and he looks remarkably terrible, he doesn't seem the least bit bothered by the occurrence.]

I am rotting.

[Yes. That is the only thing he has to say.]

[The memory starts up with Kazuo running through the forest. Then...the following takes place. Naturally, it is all from Kazuo's point of view.

At the end, he turns to look back once before turning away again to head on down the road.]

[Kazuo looks at the memory with his head tilted.]

...Mm. A memory.

[ooc: Kazuo's memory is that chapter that I linked you to. Pretend it is from Kazuo's point of view. Also, I should note that there is a person dying in there and that the depiction of a head exploding is pretty graphic.

You have been warned.]

[Kazuo stares at his device a moment or so with those icy eyes before actually speaking.]

The curse was inaccurate.

There were...flaws.

[The video turns on and shows that the device has fallen from Kazuo's pocket. He's hand cuffed to Umi and they're standing outside the music shop late at night.]

...Augh, look at that. It was the perfect chance to make at least something good out of this mess, too!

[Umi sighs with obvious resignation. The camera shows her turning to Kazuo with a wry smile. She doesn't look too bothered by the curse come this point.] Nevermind. Guess we'll have to come back tomorrow or something, huh? You wouldn't have played too comfortable like this, anyway...

[Kazuo stares at the glass for a time before looking down at the ground. Reaching down, he grabs a rather large rock.]

Wh-? ...Hey. What'd you think you're going to do with that? Kazuo??

...Break the window. [And he's staring at her.]

No way. BAD IDEA-- DON'T---!! That's not really necessary! We can wait!!

[And he just tilts his head as he keeps staring at her.]

...Really, we don't have to. Tomorrow's fine, isn't it?? It's not like the shop's going anywhere!

[He stares a moment more then turns to the window again. Lifting his arm, he throws the rock and shatters the glass.]

I said don---! AUCK!!

[There's a crash, and the feed catches Umi sheltering herself against her partner in crime against flying pieces of glass. She gawks at the vandalized shop window in disbelief when it's over.]

I can't BELIEVE--- That wasn't very LEGAL, you know?!

[Kazuo doesn't answer since he's busy staring off at something else. Namely at the recording device on the ground. Bending down, he picks it up then starts to drag Umi inside.]

...Hey! Where do you think we're going??

To play.

[There's a stunned pause.]

...Okay, fine. Done's done. Having come this far... [Umi stops tugging at her end of the cuffs, the device recording her briefly as she shifts to a sneaky pace and follows after Kazuo.] Let's just make this quick before we get caught, alright?? HONEST.

Fine. [He looks at his device a moment then turns it off.]

[ooc: Kazuo and Umi are cuffed together and getting into trouble. Feel free to scold them! Umi is blue there. Police...handle this however you like.]

[Kazuo can be found in the music store before the piano. Why he is out this late is anyone's guess. But that's not the important thing right now. What is is that he looking at the keys. It takes him a moment before he settles his hands on them.

A moment later he is playing this like he's been playing the piano all his life. When he's done, he looks at his device.]

I located a piano.

[And he ends the recording.]

I completed the challenge successfully.

[Yeah, he doesn't care that all of like...two people will actually understand that.]

[The device is nudged and turned on to reveal Kazuo sitting there reading a book in the Library. People are making attempts to behead each other around him but he doesn't appear to even notice them. Not until someone comes over with a knife ready to swing it down on his neck.

In an instant, he takes the book and smashes it into the other boy's gut then his neck and then his face. Once the boy falls, he opens the book again and continues to sit there.]

Wish. A desire, longing, or strong inclination for a certain thing...

[ooc: That's right. Kazuo is sitting in the Library reading while everyone is beheading each other.]

That was another curse then.

[He pauses and there's the sound of a page being turned.]

Most of yesterday was a failure.

[Another page turning after that calm, cool observation...]

That was a curse then. I see.

[A pause before he moves onto something else. Honestly, the ticking doesn't bother him. But since people recommended that he obtain something to lessen the sound, he will make an inquiry.]

I require a roommate or a pet.

I will listen to recommendations on suitable animals.

[His tenor voice stops there and he stops the entry since anything else would be unnecessary.]
