Nodding, Katniss watches him and when he's gone she deadbolts the door; the have things worked out.
When he's done, when he's a block away, he'll message her and she'll unbolt it.
Until then, it's better safe than sorry. A few times a hotel deadbolt has saved both of them from being discovered so she never underrates it.
