Kill 16 - Video

This again.

[Kazuo studies things before removing a City coin from his pocket. He studies it a moment and it doesn't seem clear as to what he is going to do with it. Then, he flips it in the air.

When it comes back down he catches it.]

I play.

[And that is all. There is a crossbow in his hands now and he is on the hunt for everyone in the game.]

[ooc: Kazuo here will fight anyone and is trying to kill people. If you're interested in him killing your character, he's your man. Just let me know what is okay and what isn't. (I'm always okay with setting up an escape scenario or Kazou getting hurt instead.) Open to action here or other replies. Just know that now that he's in hunt mode, he probably won't say a single word.]

[Tilting his head, Kazuo regarded Huey for a time. One of the players in this apparently. That was the logical conclusion. And if that was the case...

He lifted his crossbow so that it was aimed at his throat...and fired.]

[Huey barely sidesteps in time to avoid getting his throat opened like his first opponent of the day. He narrows his eyes at his newest adversary and charges at him with a surprising burst of speed, the tip of the spear aimed directly for Kazuo's chest.]

[Reaching out with a hand, he grabs the staff of the spear and uses the momentum to try knocking it out of his opponent's hands. The motion is smooth and flawless. As if he's a martial arts expert.]

[And his eyes widen as he recognizes the technique being used against him. He lets go of the weapon and springs backwards while settling into a stance while attempting to gauge the older boy in front of him.]

[Dropping the empty crossbow, Kazuo swings the new weapon around and changes his stance completely to handle the new weapon. He holds it like this and waits to see what the other will do.]

[Just because he's lost his new main weapon doesn't mean that he's unarmed. He reaches behind his back and pulls out the sword-breaker which he had kept from his first kill.]

Would you be adverse to giving up and letting me pass?

[The look in the other's eyes informs Huey that he had just asked a stupid question but he had to do something to try and change the pace from following Kazuo's flow.]

[It's like Huey didn't just draw a weapon and that the words were never spoken. For in the next moment, Kazuo is moving quickly, jabbing the air over and over then swinging it around like a quarterstaff to try smacking the staff against him, following it up with the blade again.

Not once does he stop moving, fully intending to injure the other and watching every move he makes in the process.]

[Defense honed from fighting more psychos helped to keep him from being killed but injured was an entirely different story. The final strike from Kazuo's attack cut open a small gash across his chest.]

[Pulling back, Kazuo uses the moment of making the gash to swing the weapon around to try smacking the weapon from the other boy's hand. Disarmed was more convenient if he could achieve it.]

[His will to survive and technique is great but his size and the unnatural skill being presented by Kazuo were starting to become too much to handle. Huey dodged the attack and quickly scooped up a handful of dirt and tossed it directly into his opponent's face in an effort to blind him and attempt to escape.]

[Using his jacket, he quickly blocks his eyes then ducks low. Sweeping the weapon out, he goes to knock Huey's legs out from under him. The last thing he wants is for his prey to escape that easily after all.]

[And down he goes with a mild curse slipping past his lips. Without wasting anytime the boy begins to roll away fast before getting back up on his feet and taking off into the underbrush.]

[And now that his prey is on the run, Kazuo gives chase, keeping up with him rather easily. Though he doesn't look it, he has a very in shape body and the mind of a predator.]

[Huey doesn't even attempt to look back, knowing full well that the slightest distraction could end with him making a mistake and allowing his pursuer to catch him. If there was only three ways to shake of a predator. The first two options which came to him were trashed due to him knowing they would prove fruitless which only left one option and that didn't sit well with him.

But seeing as how it was currently a choice between life or death, Huey knew that the only thing he could possibly do was to divert Kazuo's attention to a more...accessible target.]

[Kazuo keeps an eye out for Huey, staying behind him and never fully catching up. It's like he's saving energy, waiting for his prey to tire out but staying close enough to not lose him.]

[Not going to happen anytime soon, Kazuo. Huey continues to run for his life, scanning the area for any potential loner or persons he could fence his pursuer off onto. His eyes widen slightly when he thinks he hears a small confrontation happening ahead of him.]

[He notices the confrontation as well and tilts his head. To go after the other prey when they may kill each other? Or follow this one who was alone. He has a decision to make apparently.]

[He'll make it for you. He pours on more speed and heads in the direction of the confrontation. Hopefully it's a group of people who might have enough combined skill to defeat the obviously master class teenager. That or at least give Huey enough time to effectively get Kazuo off his tail.]

[Hm. An unexpected move. Moving his spear into an offensive grip, he gets ready to kill the entire group.]

[Expect the unexpected. Huey speeds towards the group as he sees them. Upon noticing him and the spear toting teenager behind him, the one of the fighters charges towards Huey only for the pre-teen to slide between his legs and spring back to his feet and run while dodging at attacks that were directed towards him.

No need to fight if he was correct in assuming how his pursuer would react.]

[The first person falls in a bloody death and it's not long before the second joins the first. Huey runs but what he leaves behind is a slaughter. Kazuo watches him and grabs an abandoned knife to throw it at Huey's shoulder. To make him bleed so he could follow the trail of blood later. Assuming the other doesn't dodge the weapon.]

[Nope. The blade embeds itself into his shoulder, causing Huey to fall forward with a loud cry of pain. He stumbles to his feet and starts to break away at a fast pace away once more. Though he knew he couldn't run for very long if he should continue to lose more blood. Huey hoped that the fighting would tie Kazuo up longer in order to give him some time to attempt to find some place to treat the wound he received.]

[That done, Kazuo finishes off the rest of those he's fighting. He gets splattered in the blood but that is fine. He will clean up later.

Right now...he's hunting for the dark skinned boy.]

[Huey's now a fair distance away when he comes to a stop to begin treating his injury. He quickly pulls out the knife and then takes off his shirt. With his good arm he starts to tear his shirt apart until he has several long strips which he uses to wrap the wound up with. Once finished, he starts to go back to putting more distance between himself and the one chasing him.]

[ooc:Down for an escaped quarry?]

[Kazuo catches up to the point where the blood trail ends after a time. Tilting his head, he observes the area then looks off to see where the other could have gone. His prey has escaped.

Well...he can look for him later.

And with that he goes to find another to kill.]
